A gem in Fort Smith. This place is crazy good. They have homemade everything. There is something for every one comfort food, great burgers and sandwiches, great salads, and hard to resist pie. My coworkers and i tried this place today for lunch and i just had to come back with my son for dinner. The pies are amazing. Cute little country feel. They are very well priced. The portions are large. A must try. Meredith was our waitress and she was awesome! !

Get a pie, best thing on the menu.. it will take you a while to try them all I think there were 40 different pies available. Good looking salad bar everything looked fresh. They were busy at lunch time so services was a bit chaotic. The pie.. did I mention the pie it will make the trip worth while. Seriously try the pie.

Atmosphere is good. Sandwich was Rueben and not their specialty. Pie was OK (possum). I'll say it is worth trying a few times with all the choices (lots of different pies). I'll update this review if it's better.

Red Rooster is a staple in Alma, and just recently opened their new location in Fort Smith. I've been here several times now and, overall, it's a great and welcome addition to the food scene here in the Fort. First and foremost, their homemade rooster bread is excellent. If they give you the choice, that is the correct one. The sandwiches are all fantastic, though a bit small for the price. The sides are hit and miss: the potato salad is bland but the barbeque baked beans are great. It's a great spot for lunch, and they offer the biggest pie selection of any place in town. The parking lot is a bit small and will fill up. The waitstaff is exceedingly friendly. Definately a place to check out for brunch or a quick bite.

Red Rooster was great at the Alma location and equally wonderful in Ft Smith. Burgers are great, salad bar is great, and the homemade bread is amazing! But save room for dessert. Their pies are both beautiful and tasty! The service was good, too. Our gal was very attentive.

Went in on a Wednesday to try the beans & cornbread and handmade onion rings (both were awesome!) went back on Thursday for the chicken & dumplings, SO good! My daughter loved the homemade rolls so much I had to order some to take home for her. There are so many different kinds of pies it's mind boggling. I loved the banana cream and can't wait to try some of the other flavors. The waitresses were very nice and attentive on both occasions. Would recommend to friends and family.

I have had two meals at the Red Rooster so far. This place is country cooking in the middle of town. Good cooking...Good Service...Great Salad Bar. I am trying to eat healthy now so this has been a good place to get a great salad. They also have two soups available on the salad bar. Great stuff. Parking can be a challenge but the place down the hill is owned by the same owner so you can park there until that business gets open some day. The first time I was there I had a hamburger with fresh made bread for a bun. High FIVE!

Great food, but the prices were on the high end side. Nice decor if you like country style meets modern day. I will go back only with the misses and not the whole family. Had a good waitress and she was tentative and the place was busy on a Saturday afternoon.
